The Cocoon Patong

First start with the location, it's about 1000 mts from Bangla road and beach, so at least you can walk, otherwise there is no shared transportation in Patong and Everytime you loose 100/200 bhats for that. there are lots of coccon named hotels and restaurants there so finding it might be little difficult. Front desk is neutral in expression , so you ask and explore what you need. Travel arrangements are costly from front desk ,so you better look outside and don't forget to bergain, nothing is fixed in Patong. hotel is not crowded and that's a big comfort. No breakfast or food arrangements. Room is quite comfortable in size but toilet is small and quite ordinary. only soap and shampoo provided as toiletries. My room ac was not working properly, but I managed with it. Room includes a mini fridge and TV also. WiFi is really good.

We booked two rooms for Six persons but we were only five. Initially the hotel did not check us in because it said it allowed only two persons per room. I then consulted Goibibo who resolved our issues within minutes.Thanx to Vihan Sharma from Goibibo team.

The Hotel location is very good, Hotel owner and reception staff is very helping and good person, Room is fine, neat and clean, AC is working wi fi working good and it is free of cost. I can recommend this hotel for everyone.

Not so extra ordinary hotel but situated centrally. Very basic hotel & the big minus point is they collect deposit for every room. No room service & the rooms are not so big too....
