👉 genuine review, stayed on 25th-29th of april 23.OVERALL- average, a mixed bag, good value for money. LOCATION- in Totu, not Shimla 👀. safe & good neighborhood. lots of shops & few eating places on the same street, everything available. no autos available, u have to carry ur luggage from bus stand to room on ur head, literally. better to get bags with wheels 👀. AMMENITIES- all necessary amenities provided, including hot water. room is big.CLEANLINESS- not very clean, the room & bathroom. broom and bucket is provided, u can clean urself. same for sheets & pillows, wash and use 👀. COOPERATIVE- at 10 am, before ur checkout, the owner will call to ask if u need anything. RECOMMENDATION- if u want to be in totu, u can give it a try. NON AVAILABILITY OF AUTOS & HYGIENE ARE DEFINATELY ISSUES. ok for family & solo traveller. safe for females. BUT THE NON-NORTH INDIAN MAY BE BETTER OFF IN A CONVENTIONAL STAY NEAR MALL, IN SHIMLA.Totu- 10 km from shimla proper, will be a disadvantage if u are short of time. moreover, the local people are not tourism oriented or cooperative/ mixing type like u get in goa or kerala. advantage is u can take toy train from totu, it is a stop.

This was my first ever visit to Shimla and since i was travelling with my little one i was looking for a space which givew homely feeling to my kid. Aamantran's space and food had it all what i could have asked for in an unknown territory. Owner of the facility was friendly, curteous and easy to deal with. On my insistence he offered room heater to deal with freezing temperature and did not charged anything for it. A few issues, though i like to highlight.. if you are travelling by your car you may have to fight to find a parking slot on the road. Though the owner came to my rescue once but bothering someone time and again, is not my kind of thing. Food though was delicious however waiting time was way too much considering other options. Rooms were neat and clean and so was the washrooms and linen. Most likely i would have rated 3 stars however, i forgot to collect my DL and other id cards for my family members. I requested the owner of this facility and he immedialtely dispatched those on the requested address. And it is to the owners courtsey and behaviour i am tempted to give them 4 star.

good stay at aamantran 21 -12- 2012. 4 km from mall road. if you have own vehicle , you are looking for budget hotel.This is the best hotel for you.room is very spacious.bedsheets & towels are clean .food is very tasty.hotel staff is very co-operative.it is best budget hotel for family travellers.bathroom hygienic.

It was great. The owner was very friendly, well behave,softspoken and helpful. He lined up vehicles for our commute at a very reasonable and correct rate. Room was very big well maintained and tidy.
