Homestay is located close to the city in a very beautiful location amidst coffee plantations and is surrounded by a very beautiful garden. There is a swing in the premises where 3 adults can comfortably sit. I received a call from the caretaker of homestay, Mr. Brown on the day of my booking enquiring about our expected timings. He is a very courteous person and helped us in shifting the luggage. He enquired about our purpose of visit and gave useful suggestions. There are 2 rooms in first floor. They are very spacious rooms. We were 3 adults and 1 child - could be comfortably accommodated in a single room. There is a common living room /kitchen shared by 2 rooms. On day of my arrival, other room was empty and we had entire living room /kitchen for ourselves. All basic utensils for cooking, gas connection, refrigerator and aquagard water are provided. He also provided boiled milk. I found the price for the room to be very reasonable compared to other hotels in Madikeri. I would recommend it for anyone traveling to Madikeri looking for a budget hotel providing a very comfortable home like stay.

Our 2-day stay at Anand Nilaya was beyond amazing. Nestled amidst a lush coffee plantation, the estate is very well maintained. Mr. Brown was quite warm and hospitable and even came to pick us up early in the morning. It's a great escape for families and people who want to relax and unwind from their busy city lives. Totally recommend it!

The ambiance of the property was excellent and the location was easy to access. The staffs were well-mannered and helpful and the rooms were decent but the blankets were not so clean.

very good homestay surrounded by coffee plantations. Owner is very helpful. Only disadvantage is you don't get food there. You'll have to order food from nearby restaurants.
