Angel's Inn Pahalgam

Angels inn is the perfect hotel to stay in pahalgam if you are looking for a nice, homely place. Irshad and his family are nice and friendly people, ever ready to assist you . I had been there just last week and the memories of the place are still vivid in my mind. We were on our way to amaranth **** and irshad's suggestions and advices helped us a lot. He is also a very resourceful boy, and provided us with oxygen cylinders and masks. He politely and patiently answered all our numerous questions. We loved the place and the town so much that after we returned from the ****, we decided to spend a couple more days , just to enjoy the warmth of our hosts and eat their delicious food. You can order anything you want here, from bread toast and tea in the morning to parathas and dal chawal in the night. The meals are prepared by the hosts themselves in true kashmiri style. We hardly went out for eating... everything comes right to your room. The rooms are clean and neat. Free WiFi is available. The view of the pink roses in the garden, and green mountains at the background will truly blow your mind. The main road is just a short walk, and right across the road is the beautifully flowing lidder river. Taxis and city tours will be arranged by the hosts if requested. And the prices are reasonable too. We ourselves travelled from pahalgam to srinagar in a car provided by Irshad, and had a safe and peaceful journey. I do not recommend this hotel in winter season. In Pahalgam water gets frozen so you won't get normal water supply in washrooms, though the hotel staffs really tried hard to match the tourist's expection by giving warm water buckets everytime I asked for. Another problem is the room heater doesn't work properly and every time it went of in the morning when the temperature was below 0 degree. I asked to change the heater, but the second one was also useless. Another problem is, this guest house is little bit away from the main pahalgam market, so you have to order your dinner to the hotel stuffs only, though they cook very nice. 👍 All over it wasn't a good experience for me due to unavailability of basic aminities in the chilled winter season. Remember, in Pahalgam, from the mid of December to January, the temperature drops below -10. So if you are going to book this guest house, do not forget to take necessary winter wears because the room heater won't suffice your coldness.

Very nice host and their hospitality. I came here in severe winter snowfall. They provided basic requirements with full heart despite the winter conditions. It was an awesome stay. Location is 1km far from city center in a village called Ganshbal. View is a bit obstructed. it's a budget stay. The road in front of it a village road full of horse droppings. But, the warm behaviour of Irshad will compensate it. I will recommend it.

Had the most amazing stay of my kashmir trip at Angel's inn Pehelgam. The hospitility was just like home. Irshad Bhai had been so patient and warm-hearted throughout my whole trip. Being a solo traveler (girl) I had few doubts regarding what places to visit and what not, Irshad made sure that I reach safe and sound. He even arranged for my stay at Gulmarg. Must visit if you want that "Home away from Home" experience.
