The overall experience was very pleasant. The houseboat was very clean and well-maintained. We checked-in at 12.30pm and checked-out at 9.30am the next day. We were greeted with Welcome Drinks, followed by heavy Lunch and snacks in the evening. You can inform your food requirements from the options to the dedicated cook that you would get on the boat and enjoy the pleasant experience. At 5.30pm the boat anchored at a shore and we got to roam in Kumarakom before heading back to the boat for dinner. The next morning the boat started again at 8am and reached the initial point at 9.30am... Overall it was a good experience, but the ride-time in water is limited to 4 hours for a full day stay.

The houseboat wasn't too fancy. Room was pretty small, bathroom very small too. Basic things like handles for door was missing. We had a bit of mosquito problem in the room when we stopped. Not sure if it was due to some opening somewhere. Food was decent. They started at 11.30 am for us and dropped us back at 7.30 am. We were expecting a little later drop. Would suggest alternatives if you want live in a houseboat.

The backwaters experience was amazing. The problem was with the cleanliness of the houseboat. There were bed bugs and both me and my wife have got red marks since our one night stay at the houseboat. A week has passed since the one night stay, but we still haven't fully recovered from the beg bugs infestation. I would strongly recommend to not book this houseboat because of the hygiene issue.

Very Good Stay at Aqua Jumbo. Good Stretch of Kumarakom covered. Its individual choice to buy fish from fish market and opt for massage. The sailor takes hault at above two places. Moreover , the crew may take short hard drinks at night after the days tiring hard work. Overall a great experience - Welcome Coconut drink with Fresh fruits. We bought and ate lobsters from Fish market.

The stay on 26 n 27 Mar 2022 at Aqua jumbo houseboat was very nice n memorable. We a family consisting of 3 members opted for a two-bedroom houseboat.The Staff Mr. Manish n Mr. Mani was very friendly and clueful. Reservation manager Mr. Vinod's service is also commendable. Thank u Goibibo for recommending this property ❤️

For the price, I think the boat driver makes some cost cutting by switching off AC many times and not allowing ac in afternoon. Also the food was spicy, but especially chicken was only masala powder mixed and that too it was a lot.. The views and boat were fantastic though.
