Backwoods bnb was an excellent stay for us. We had booked a deluxe room with a living room and trust me it was amazing. A true value for money and the rooms will give you an actual feel of staying in the hills since it is made of woods and it is aesthetically made. Make sure to book the deluxe room with a living room and balcony. You wont regret your choice. It is around 900 mtrs from mall road. You just cannot complaint about this in shimla as anyways you will have to walk walk and walk but still this property is at walking distance from mall road. Special thanks to the young team of Amit and Pankaj. They were exceptionally well behaved and trained well by the owner Mr Rahul. Mr Rahul has been kind with us and a lovely host.

my experience here was really Great. very nice hotel, very well maintained with all the best amenities, small but clean washrooms. Pankaj at the BNB is a very helpful and welcoming boy. It is walking distance from the mall yet a very calm and relaxing place without the hustle and bustle of The mall road. The paranthas here were very delicious. 💯 would recommend anyone visiting Shimla to stay here. We wanted to stay here for another day but unfortunately it was already completely booked. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Shimla.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff ( Specially - Amit Sharma) . Everything about the stay was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

(4.5/5) It was a very enjoyable stay, hosts were really welcoming start to end. We had a great view from our balcony too. So book that room if available. Location is optimal with respect to mall road and several other attractions. Our only complaint was the food and its price. Food was exorbitantly expensive and not all food items were upto the mark.

Room was clean and spacious. We were not expecting the extra hall (room) with our stay it was like a surprise... Outside view was beautiful. 😍 The reception person was very helpful. 5-7 mins walking distance from Mall road. Recommend for those who are looking budget stay with mesmerizing view and near tourist attraction (Mall road).

Backwood BNB is great place to stay. full familier staff , fully helpfull. If you everything need. The staff will provide you and better guide you. please visit one time at least at this place. Area is also very clean near by cm residency.so you can anytime go out side from this hotel to mall road.

Backwoods has been my favourite since November 2019 and that made me pick the property again for my visit. Extremely friendly staff, very peaceful rooms, proximity to Chhota Shimla bus stop are the top positives in my opinion. I'd definitely visit again.

Location is awesome 👍 with beautiful valley view. Just 10 min walk from the Mall road. Very silent and away from rush of Shimla. Hospitality was very good. This is located in no parking area so you need to park your vehicle at paid parking at 600 m.
