Cherai Onetree Retreat | Rooms in a Villa

I have booked the stay for my family and we took 3 rooms - sea view rooms. Cons: This place is actually an old structure and the maintenance is bad. we couldn't sleep at night because of all the insects. there are lizards in the room and water smells bad- we used mineral water later becz of that smell and also they told that hot water is available for 24hrs but we didn't even got any hot water. We used cold water only. I have stayed in different places same week like munnar, Alleppey, Vagamon. I paid the double amount of money compared to my other stays but still I don't have a good experience here. The location is very far from Kochi City. If you want to go to the kochi City, you have to travel back to 20Kms. Pro: Food is great here, It's a home cooked food and it was great. View is very good. The property is just beside the beach.

Had memorable stay though the resort is in urgent need of maintenance. The staff was courteous and co-operative. Quality of food is good. The resort is located right on the beach which adds to its beauty though the sitting lounge towards the beach has lot of scope towards improvement. TV and electric kettle was not provided in the room though it was mentioned. on request, the kettle was provided.

The property is located next to Arabian sea. view is good for sun set. pros: - sea view - sit out and top dining area - covered parking - restrooms are near and good cons: - priced high - rooms are not up to price range, doors are damaged - No restaurant inside, if we need food we need to pre order or we need to travel 2 or 3 km from the place.

I visited this place in Cherai and had one of the worst experiences. The hotel rooms were extremely bad and unhygienic. We just walked out of the hotel. We had to find a different hotel to stay and we were extremely comfortable with the new hotel. you guys have disappointed me
