AVOID. Read this only if you want a detailed & unbiased review. Me and my wife had a horrible experience for the price we paid for the room. I came to Ooty on the occasion of my birthday to celebrate a good time here, however my expectations nosedived quickly on arrival. First of all, on my arrival there was no one at the property to help us with our luggage, second, the room that was allotted to us was room 104, which does have a balcony but it is not the one shown on the property pictures. It is a public facing balcony with no privacy as the walls are made of glass which faces the common passage, which to me is a breach of privacy. Also the room was extremely dirty. Before coming I had a really good conversation with the owner, but don't fall for that, the owner just pretends to be nice, yet not do a single thing in your favour when the need arrives. The owner tried to convince me that they had cleaned the room and all, but the room was literally filled with spots all around the walls, and was stinking near the bed. Also avoid booking the auto which they will give you, because for me the auto never showed up and called me after 45 mins of my scheduled time. The in-house dining menu is insanely costly and the moral of the story is, all they are trying to do is squeeze money off you by providing you substandard room. Don't ever book this property, unless they are offering you Room 102, else you're doomed.Privacy of the balcony as it was literally a transparent balcony sharing the common passage, Stinky rooms and walls filled with filthy stains. Exorbitant pricing of the in-house menu, unprofessional auto driver recommended by the property.

The place seems overlooked, and not so mainstream, and that's what makes it beautiful. Very good location- near to city but not in the heart. A beautiful view from the balcony adds to the serenity of the place. The manager is very helpful and well-behaved. The food provided was good and homely. Overall, a very good place in a proper price. Much recommended.

This hotel is situated around 3 to 4 km from city centre. So the plcae is calm and free from city vibes. View from the hotel terrace is great. Even though there is no near by hotel, you can order it from swiggy or zomato. Mr Satish is a friendly person and will be available during your stay. He can also help with the places to visit around.
