Chevron Ranikhet Club

Poor rooms in the name of Deluxe category...... Total of 4 rooms in whole club actually meant for club members. .... whatever committed at the time of booking was not served and nobody had the courtesy to ask any help required for luggage or not..... room landline was not working ... you have to go to reception again and again to request to make it working and for whatever you required...... reception staff was poor... no smile no welcome like you are unwanted guests came in..... I had to argue for the amenities committed in voucher given by GOIBIBO .. though same has been provided later as demanded but of no use as you are not in good mood by then... early morning no one was available at reception and even picked the phone for morning tea..... bathoorms fitting were good lookwise but when used it was worst........ I booked room by clicking Chervon Rosemount option on GOIBIBO but I dont know how I got the room in Chervon Ranikhet Club.... Its not right and very dissatisfied..... My friends I request not to book that hotel at the rates of 3500 to 4000...... Its was a real pain for me when i booked 2 rooms in that hotel n paid approx 9000/- rupees and felt bad after reaching there in front of my family.....my advice is... only book if you dont have any other right choice .....

We took a halt at the club while on our way to Munsiyari. Initially we did find it difficult to locate the place for everyone knows it as "the club" and not "chevron club". If you use the name chevron, people are surely going to direct you the other chevron property. It's an army club, where the rooms are managed and run by chevron. The rooms are just basic, nothing fancy but clean . The location is nice, peaceful and quiet. If you are looking for a place where you can just go and relax- it's a good choice. Being an army club the drinks are at available at a decent rate. The food there is to die for! - it is just out of the world. We chose to spend another day at ranikhet on our way back- just for the food experience. Don't forget to try their lachha parathas- beats the best of hotels around. Everything from butter chicken, Kasai chicken, Dal makhni, chicken tikka, kumaoni aalo, kumaoni raita ,Sizzlers to aloo Puri for breakfast was great. The people working there are courteous and polite. The manager too was a nice, friendly, accomdating man. Overall a great experience. I would recommend it to people​ in my circle.

We spent a peaceful Easter weekend here as a couple. The place is surrounded by lush green forests and the location is right in the middle of Ranikhet Cantt. The place has 4 beautiful cosy rooms, the staff is very polite and attentive even when their strength is low. It is not a hotel, so please do not go here thinking you will get hotel kind of service or amenities. It is a club and there will be club members from time to time. The bar is decently stocked up and the food was decent. They are very flexible like that. All in all, no complaints and had a fabulous stay. W

Hotel has a good Ambience. Restaurant too catered delicious food. We were lonely guest, so could order as per choice from Alakarte. Rooms were very small compared to other hotels. Bathroom gyeser had hot water problem however hot water was provided on request. Service was quick. Got stuck up at time of checkout. And nearly mine 1 hour was wasted due to mis communication on my MAP package..., the staff were adamant and demanded for Meals payment which was part of my MAP plan.
