Corbett Riviera

This was my second stay here and it was amazing. But I will list out all the good and not-so-good stuff here so that you can take your own informed decision on coming here. So here it goes: Good: 1) Very strategically located as many places are not very far from this resort. You can see the Jim Corbett National Park just across the river from your balcony. 2) The resort is surrounded by mountains, river & trees.You can hear the sound of river from your room's balcony. You can easily walk down if you want to sit by the side of the river. Also the sounds of birds chirping, Barking Deer (locally it's called Kankhar) and Barasingha is very common. 3) Super friendly and informative staff available to you almost all the time. 4) Food you get here is absolute delight at a reasonable price. 5) Pick and drop service for Jim Corbett jungle safari. You can book a safari from this hotel. 6) Free Wifi connection is available. Sometimes the wifi won't work but interruptions don't last more than a few minutes. 7) Clean and spacious room. 8) Ample car parking space. Not-So-Good: 1) Very poor mobile network which is a normal problem in most parts of Lansdowne. So you have to rely mostly on the hotel wifi to stay connected with the outside world.

Firstly we book 2 rooms which is non-refundable. when we reached hotel, there's no room available at all. They denied. just because it's non-refundable they arrange one room for 5 people 🙄 which was the office for this hotel. we don't have any options left so we stayed there. Next day a lot of rain 🌧 created messy weather. we went outside for tarteshwaer ji temple after the return we got to know there was no electricity 🙃😅then they arrange generator after 3 hours and we had our dinner at 12 am . No water available at night for toilet 😢😕we can't charge ours mobiles as well. Horrible experience. No management of the owner. Although the person who were present there for service they were very laborious. they try to ease the things . Food was really delicious 😋

LOVED this place! There is a path that leads down to the river which is easy to walk even if you're not an active person. Thankfully this property is a little away from the camping sites on the Khoh river, so the river on this side has clearer water, beautiful tiny fishes and complete peace! The staff is very kind. We had a booking for a deluxe room, but they offered to upgrade us to premium for no extra charge! Food was fresh, so expect the same amount of waiting time as you would at home. They also accommodated our request for changing sugar & spice levels, guided us through how to get to Lansdowne and even waited for the cabs with us. Will definitely visit again in monsoons!

The hotel property is average. I stepped down 2 steps in the property and I was at my room. There was nothing like reception; intercom wasn't working. Staff was amazing, they gave their heart out in preparing food and giving in house services. The hotel property has a beautiful riverbed attached to its property, but it still doesn't have a proper and safe way to reach it. The hotel has a lot to work on.
