Cottage at The Bodhi Village | 1 min walk from Mandrem Beach

The absolute worst of places. Where do I begin. I booked it last minute as I was going to arambol for 2 days. It was a nightmare to see what I had booked. The place was in shambles. Dirty towels on room doors, brooms on the porch, bottles in the hallways and pathways, dingy reception area, absolutely filthy. I was horrified. The owner had already called to thank for the booking earlier that morning. I had to call him back saying its not possible to stay there. Sagar offered me to stay at another property and asked me to come up there. I was slightly relieved. As I reached there i was happy that the money didn't go down the drain completely and the room, though still not worth what I paid, was sufficient enough for 1.5 day stay. Sagar was good enough to guide me about the area and places nearby. I later understood that the place I booked had very little to do with Sagar as he had moved away from that venture due to management change. I wish sagar well. But this review is just a fair warning to anyone who sees this. DON'T BOOK.There was absolutely nothing to like. We hated it from the first look.

The property is fab & is very well located as well as beach is about only 200 meters away from it. The property only had one issue which was that they don't have power backup facility over here otherwise remaining everything is very good over here. They even provide early check-in over here as well. The rooms & their services here were great as well. The staff were very good as well. Overall we had great stay here.

If you are looking for great hospitality, this is the place to be. While the cottage rooms were cozy and comfortable, the hotel staff are polite and very friendly. Umesh - the caretaker - helped me out with my bike puncture and also shared the coordinates of nearby factory from where I could buy cashew nuts at far less prices than the market. Overall, the stay was very memorable! :)

Our stay was very much comfortable and flawless because the person who was in charge for the hospitality his name was Sagar, he was very co-operative and friendly. The accommodation was also up to the mark. It was a little difficult for us to locate the property as he reached during night.
