The place is quite far from Yercaud lake. Parking is at a different place. The approach Road is quite narrow. The restaurant is not fully functional yet. The breakfast buffet was very average. Only idly, upma, bread jam butter, cornflakes, coffee and tea. The food was cold and not tasty. The Gyser is not upto mark as water gets cold within 20 seconds. The room got very cold in the night and blankets are not good/enough. There is no lift. The room was spacious. The room service needs improvement. The room was not stocked with tea cofee sugar etc, There were no hangers, We had to keep calling multiple times for items missing in the room and many times the phone was going unanswered. Only thing I liked was the big room.Average

We had a good stay at Friday Inn. They have a limited but a good breakfast. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Good value for money. The only drawback is, its located 3 kms from the boating/bus stand in a remote place. The scenery is good. But there are no restaurants and other shops nearby the hotel. Those who have their own vehicle can have a pleasant stay here. For others, there won't be any autos/taxis available up the hill. The hotel will arrange for one if needed, but the drivers charge 300 for 3kms. So you have to spend 600 for up and down the hill when you visit a restaurant. The hotel will also arrange for food. But the option is very very limited.

No welcome. We had to carry luggage by ourselves. Manager at the reception desk was very rude. Room was given right next to the reception desk. No privacy, people outside and us could hear each other. No proper information given on dinner availability and time. Over all poor hospitality. Manager spoiled overall stay experience for us. I wish you don't get to meet him or just stay somewhere else if you want a peaceful stay.

Stay was comfortable. Clean rooms, sanitized. Washroom was also clean. Breakfast was not a wifespread buffet. They had idly, poori and bread. Second day it was odly and uthappam. Taste was good though. Akhil was very hospitable and Raja, their manager was also very friendly. Overall a good stay !

Overall a good stay , location was peaceful n will be good choice for couple. Terrace area was kind of sit n relax , view from there is eye catcher. Food which was provided though limited variety, taste was absolutely good. Thanks for Friday inn team. Keep continuing and improving !!!

good resort at the top of ooty. nice place to stay and going to this resort way is bit risky. To steep Road. Roof to dining is available. you will need to pay more for Balcony view room.
