On arrival my room was updated from standard to Deluxe (still trying to figure out whats the difference between standard room and deluxe room). The hotel is nearby airport. However, its in south Portblair whereas most of the places is in North Portblair (you can get autos which charges between 120-150). They also have Wifi but you can only get it at reception. .. checkout time for Hotel is 9:00 AM whereas in Hotel I was informed that its 8:00 AM(however on request they allowed me to stay till 10:00 AM).

I try to give some negative ratings but I don't find any minus of this hotel. I have taken 5 nights their. It's more than value for money. Dont miss buffet breakfast it's delicious. Fully Genset back up even lifts and AC also runs in Genset back up. Neat N clean rooms well maintained. Whole Gboceania team care for their customers. From Guard to General manager whole team was helpful. And Spl Thanks to General manager.

value for money.terrible breakfast and food options. they give jus one item in the breakfast menu which also is not a very quality one (either Pongal or idly or upma). WiFi can be accessed only in the lobby. small rooms but good, I think the ventilation is not good, we kept getting smoking odour in the room which was there throughout the two days of our stay

Its a decent hotel. Food is good. Rooms are clean on the face of it. Internet is a major problem. Wifi in rooms are not there. Only in the lobby. Speed slower than 2G! Rooms have lots of mosquitoes and cockroaches. The cockroaches comes out in the night after light out so please don't keep any food uncovered outside. Please keep mosquito repellents.

The host and staff was good and helpful... The problem we faced was lift button was not working in our floor so we always had to climb the stairs downwards. Also the AC in our room was not so effective. We had to switch on the cooler too. Otherwise the hotel is nicely located and the restaurant was also good.

The location is in centre and everyone knows this place. Hotel is quite descent and posh but the staff is kind of rude. don't care about guests. The the wifi works only in lobby that too very slow. room service is peuthetic. prices are too high and hotel stay is not worth the money.

Our stay was good in GB Oceania. The place is clean and well maintained just as promised on the website. It is good for an overnight stay. The staff is hospitable and provided good facilities and the room service had good options on the menu. All in all a comfortable stay.

Good hotel with almost all the basic amenities. Well educated and cooperative staff . Complementary breakfast was good . The best part is that wifi was provided especially ,where internet is a big problem. A value for money hotel. Room no 103

Located in center point. all the staffs are very polite. Receptionist are very helpful. Restaurant foods are taste. Standard rooms are too much small & there is no balcony. They are giving the facility of wifi, but not working properly.

threz no wifi n food is nt upto mark.. we ordered chckn curry n he gave all waste pieces whch r nt edible.. we wont get any signals in port blair except bsnl...no internet in thz city
