Stayed here for the second time. Very nice hotel. This is one Old British Style Property. Gives you feel of pre independence time British Accomodation. The hotel has been renovated with taste since my last stay last year. They have a small kitchen too and serve Breakfast on order. The service quality is excellent. One may miss is the Valley View but this is compensated by its location which is right beside the Gun Hill Ropeway on the Mall Road. The hotel arranged for site seeing and outstation transport at reasonable rates. One thing I must suggest that the Toilet definitely needs improvement to match the room ambience. Value for money. 4.7 out of 5.

Hakmans Grand Hotel of Mussoorie needs no introduction or review. This iconic hotel has been a witness to the splendour of the British Raj in India, a reminder of the never-to-return glorious days of Mussoorie. However its a pity to see that the new owners have not paid much attention to its restoration. Hakmans ball parties once were famous across the Raj but now the hotel stands in a dilapidated state. Some to blame to changing times, some to past owners post independence and some to current owners.

I stayed with my parents and family location is wonderful as it is on mall road. Water supply problem was there and geyser hot water was also affected some Times. They don't have restaurant but it's fine because there are lot of joints near by as Sagar Ratana is just opposite to hotel. and there was lot of space for my kids to play. Good security is provided in Hotel very safe.

big & clean ( room & bathroom ) ; located on mall road which is best with enough parking space , staff & guards are nice . No restaurant but u will find sagar ratna just in front and lot of other food points . Hakmans provide you only good room with parking facility ,, everything else you have to do yourself.

Location of hotel is excellent, its on the mall road, rooms are big and spacious, ambience of hotel will take you back to British era, only problem is they don't have in-house restaurent but sagar ratna is just in front so you can compensate this, biggest advantage is car parking, I will recommend this.

very good staff! the rooms are huge and spacious......very pleasant and peaceful space....it is on the heart of mall road so makes it accessible to market and ropeway (jhulaghar) only thing is they do not have a restaurant of their own!

Though hotel is old in structure, it has major plus points of extremely large and very well furnished rooms and corridors, great location of being exactly in the center of Mall Road, and pampering nature of the cordial staff.

Hotel is at very prominent location of Mall road. its Very old building and Rooms are very big. You may not get luxury but good location only. There is no food.

The only drawback of this hotel is the lack of in-house food availability. They give you only breakfast which is too expensive, hence you prefer to go out.
