Hyatt Centric Rajpur Road Dehradun

Considering that i had booked Hyatt, one of the premium properties, however i was met with very below standard experience. I checked in to the hotel at 5 PM even though the check in time was 2 PM but upon providing with the details, i was told at the reception counter that they were not able to find my bookings that i made and it took them around 15 -20 min to retrieve the booking. The initial reception person wasn't even hospitable and outrightly asked for ID and got it photo copied and then went on to search for the booking. However the other persons present there were hospitable enough. Nevertheless, upon reaching the room, which was also very standard room considering the amount they are charging just for the reason of HYATT goodwill, there was spilled water from the one of the glass bottles that they had kept on both bedside tables. Before giving the room, they couldn't check the basic condition of the room. The electric kettle kept in the room was stinking badly and was stained and dirty at the bottom. Upon mistakenly filling the water, the water had oil kinda droplets over it. Initially the power point near the electric kettle station was not working at all and some time later after that was rectified by a technician, the entire power supply of the room went off along with the phone connection. I had to go down the reception to communicate this and get it rectified. The technician who came checked the MCB thing inside the room and he didnt bother to take care while standing on the luggage counter to access the electricity unit on the roof of the room since his shoes were touching our luggage kept there and nobody from their side even bothered to clean the counter thereafter. After all this we could settle in the room only after around 6. The only good part was that there was a prompt response to the issues faced. However from room cleanliness perspective, i would also like to point that there were broken wire pieces lying in the bathroom, the picture is enclosed here. From maintenance perspective, I am not factually aware whether this is a fairly new property , but one of the bedside lamp was broken from one side. (Picture enclosed)The breakfast spread was very normal. Not what you would expect out of such a premium property. In a nutshell it was a very disappointing stay experience. I had booked the property considering that its a HYATT property so my experience would least of all be a smooth one but that was certainly not the case.

had a great experience at the hotel. the staff is very polite and service oriented. i checked in after 11pm and needed a firmer mattress, which was addressed immediately. today morning i went to the gym after my run and the trainer (mr shamsher singh) proactively did my post run stretching, and he was very good. i will highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there the next time i go to dehradun

Had a wonderful stay at the property! I arrived with my father, who wasn’t feeling well, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us an early check-in without hesitation. The staffs went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. A special mention to Mr. Kishan and Mr. Lalit, who were both exceptional – so helpful, courteous, and professional. Highly recommend this!

rooms were smelling of dampness windows so dirty no view was visible i paid for balcony delux premium room when i visited they said that room is not available and i was given a downgraded room with zero refund worst experience.
