Hotel Jairam Samraj

We booked hotel jairam samraj for two days but we stayed an extra day by booking another room on this property. This was our 1st room which is room no. 101. It was nice but a bit small than the other one which we got on the 3rd day of our stay. That room no. Was 303. Anyways this room has a nice balcony on the front which I liked the most.They changed the bedsheets after we mentioned. Also cleaned our room every morning excluding the washroom. So housekeeping services are not bad but it'll be better if they also clean the washroom. While cleaning they are supposed to take out the garbage but they don't. So I think they should improve their housekeeping services.We were able to watch the tv but only with some free channels but it was not worth it. Also the mosquito repellent oil was empty but as there was no issues with mosquitos so we don't ask them to refill that. And one more cons is we're unable to on the AC though we booked for an AC room. I think they've turned that off from their end.Breakfast is average. I actually didn't like that much. Aloo paratha was 50rs for 1 piece but the stuffing was not sufficient. The bread toast is 30rs for this quantity. The tea was good on the 1st morning but after that they've decreased the taste I don't know why. Omlette was good.We're not able to eat even half of this noodles because they added a lot of sauce on it and it tastes very sweet. It's the worst thing I've tasted from their restaurant.The roti was big and thin and I found them perfect. But the paneer butter masala worth 150rs is not so satisfying because they added a whole lot of butter in it. It was not edible. We were unable to finish half of the dish.Egg pakoda worth 80rs for this 8 sliced egg pieces. This was a very simple dish so I've no complaints about it but yea again it seems expensive they just dipped two boiled eggs into besan and after frying charged 80rs.Apart from this we ordered fine rice,chicken kasha,veg fried rice, chilli fish that was very delicious. but yea if they improve their restaurant and housekeeping services a bit then it'll be a better place. Note :- on our 2nd day some of the guests got stuck on the lift because of some lift issues. but they addressed the issue and solved that within an hour.As a couple we had a nice stay at this hotel. so objection on that point. You can definitely choose this hotel for a staycation with your partner.

hotel is near beach backside of some hotels in new digha sea beach,rooms avarage,staff are good behaved, helping and maintained,but they are not helping towards beggers,,they gave two rupees to a beggar but took back one rupees,,but incase of customers they doesn't provide inclusions,they take money for mineral water, doesn't provide dental and shower kits,water kettle, etc etc.they charges for mineral water even single one.when you ask why you don't provide inclusions , according to them inclusions means facilities available on chargeable basis.
