The roads near the hotel and the Taj Mahal were very clean. It was only a couple of minutes walk to buy tickets to the Taj Mahal at the East Gate. We went at 6am and there were no crowds. It was a very easy and peaceful experience. The man at reception was friendly and had a good sense of humour. The shower had a good amount of hot water. The roof top had a nice view of the Taj Mahal and we enjoyed drinking tea and watching the view and the monkeys. The food was a good price but ask for it to be spicy to get enough flavour. We asked for medium and there was none. However, we arrived late and were grateful for the quick and kind service. Improvements: 10am checkout was a little early for us after visiting the Taj Mahal, the more standard time of 11 or 12 would be better. We were asked for a deposit of 950, this was the first time in India we had to do this. there was a small confusion the next day getting it back as there was a different staff member and he didn't know why we had paid a deposit but this was quickly resolved. The room gets hot despite the ceiling fan and could do with a little TLC, but the location makes up for this and it is quiet.

This is view from Hotel Terrace. Nice Stay, Best Location, Good Behaviour of Staff, Food is Average, Premises is old but still better. Only point of issue that hotel will either provide AC or Hot Water and not both which is not justifiable. But still, i would recommend anyone going for Taj Mahal should stay at this place only.

Good rooms with clean washrooms. hot water was available 24hrs. Owner's son and helpers used to continuously check for assistance required. Taj Eastern gate entry is 5min walk and South gate exit is 2min from hotel. Taj is visible from rooftop. In-house restaurant food taste should be improved

I stayed 2 Nights. Hotel was nice. room was clean. Normal & hot water also availabe for bath. Manager's behavior also good. Hotel staff were freindly . Food was good. I feel it was little bit oily. walking distance from Taj , its about 300 Meters only. taj view from top of the totel is nice.

Overall stay was good. Roof top has a splendid view of Taj Mahal. Rooms are a bit small in size as compared to the photos shown. Rest everything was good.
