Hotel Kanha

My rating is largely based on my experience with hostels of similar price range. The reader should take this into account. First the good. The staff was helpful and friendly despite they language barrier. I'm not sure if this is their standard or if I got special treatment for being a foreigner. I booked the common dorm room but was given access to a private bathroom for a shower in the morning. I was also provided with bucket of warm water after asking for it. Then the bad. The dorm room had about 10 beds each with more or less dirty linen. Some had large visible stains. Since there was only one other person staying in the dorm I got to choose my bed. However, if there were more people I might not have had such a luxury. Also with more people there could have been a lot of noise and traffic. The common bathroom was dirty but not exceptionally. Shower facilities in the common bathroom would force you to shower in front of other bathroom users (I'm not sure if they were the shower or some other water facility). I have stayed in places with higher standards and cheaper price. I would not recommend unless you are really tight on budget.

Worst experience ever at this place. I have booked a dormitory. At the night I have lock the locker which is provided by the hotel. But in the morning when I open the lock of locker I found that my bag was in open condition. It seems that someone checked my bag in the night. But the hotel staff was refused to accept this. I m very disappointed with this.

i stayed in dormitory there was appx 20 bed. AC was working but bed sheets were not clean, and toilet was too dirty, and no bathroom over all bad experience.

Good staff,behaviour nice,Neat and clean....but Toilet and bathroom attached to Dormatery need more clean on regular basis.Overall its a very nice hotel.
