Never book this property *******..I have checked in with my wife into Green nest plantations. First inorder to reach here you have to call the guest house person and follow him up for more than 5-6 times as there would be no board for this. The road to reach the guest house is a 1.5 to 2 KM kaccha road from main road. If you are travelling in a low height sedan you car gets hit at the base atleast twice. Rooms as just OK. And when compared to the fare they are actually bad. The red pillows placed in the room stink like hell and if you are bit nauseate might even make you puke. I have posted the western comod pic and you can judge the neatness of the toilet. Food is pathetic, but too expensive for what they serve. There is no security for the entire property. There would be only one person who acts as a receptionist, room boy, manager and all in one single point of contact in the premises. On the first night of my accommodation there was no power from night 11.p.m to early morning 6.a.m and there was no one to ask for assistance. We were actually left alone in the deep forest. Even if there is any medical emergency you would need min 15-20mins only to reach the main road. After seeing all this I had not stayed for second night even after paying the amount in full for two nights...****** ...*...

Overall it was a bad decision for us. It is not safe for family and approaching road is not good at all. It is only 1.5 km inside from the main road but the road is pathetic and you cannot walk on that road and no lights. The place looks deserted after sunset and you cannot go out and you have to stay inside your room. During our stay in the adjoining room there 4-5 guys staying there and making noise all night. We complained to the hotel staff and they asked to keep some silence but they were not listening and kept making noise. They were drunk too. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone but family should definitely not go here. Room and washroom are not well maintained. Frequent power cuts for long duration and even breakfast was not good.

This homestay location is good. But Maintenance is very low. Very bad smell is coming Washrooms and no cleanses in the rooms after charging almost 3/4 star hotel rate per day. Windows are properly closing and not taken care for insects. and no options in Break fast. they had served only bread without Jam and Butter and no other alternatives are available. and moreover they have charged 250 towards service which was not mention in the website. final its waste of money and not recommended.

I have booked the hotel.. i got the booking confirmed by email and message...on reaching i have checked in by giving id documents. while I went out for lunch the resort team called and told the booking was cancelled by them previous day itself and on what basis i checked in.. i have vacated the room without any noise. being family around it was tough.. would recommend others to check the availability by call as well before you start to avoid last minute surprises

The homestay is located in very quiet location. Away from the noise and pollution. Surrounded by greenery. Only 15 mins away from Madikeri. The staff were very friendly. The service was good. The food was good, it felt like home food. Would definitely like to visit again.

It was a great stay in kingmaker plantation. staffs were very helpful and polite. We stayed thr for 3 nights and 4 days and we had 0 complaints on our stay. Food was Good. rooms were maintained neat. i would strongly recommend this stay for my friends and families.

pros: 1. inside coffee plantation which is good 2. service is quick to respond Cons: 1. Food is not fresh and not good and expensive. 2. If you are expecting to get Coorgi style food, no Coorgi food on offer. 3. Bathroom smelt bad, was not fixed even after complaining.

As i was on the Way to Mangalore, i just took a Halt here, Trust me i Continyed my Stay for one more night, looking at the Ambience. If you want to Relax or holiday here, Visit here, u will in Love with Nature. Don forget to Try Food Here... Its Affordable and Good
