Hotel Lake Inn

Hotel Lake Inn is one of the best properties of Bhimtal. This is more of a Resort. They also accept bookings for Weddings/Receptions/Parties etc.Location: Located at the ridge overlooking the Bhimtal Lake, it is about 500 meters away from the Lakeside road. The road is quite steep, so a bit challenge if you want to walk the distance. They have a huge parking area however, so shouldn't be an issue if you come by your own car, or a group of several vehicles. I'd rate it a 4.5*.Inside Property area: Right after the parking there's a staircase decorated nicely with ivies that takes you to the first floor and to ground floor-lawn-reception. There's a well maintained and picturesque wrought iron swing right beside the staircase landing. The steps and the landing areas are all decorated with seasonal flower tubs. The reception area has a large and two single seater sofas where you can sit and relax upon arrival while checkin paperwork is being done.The the lawn connects to one side of the reception room, and there's a moderate dinning area at the other side.The lawn feels like a little piece of heavn on earth. With the glass walls at the rounded corner of the building, the mesmerizing clear view of Bhimtal lake, the entire mountain range at the background, the seasonal flowers and the well pruned bushes, the soothing weather and the peaceful nature- makes you completely forget your daily life stresses and hastles.The roof is accessible, and has an amazing 360° view of the entire vally. There's however no shade or sitting area in the roof. So advise for the property owner would be to consider building something there. Property gets a 5 * + from me.Rooms and amenities: During our stay we were given room no. 101 and 102 at the ground floor. These rooms are for 2 guests, but one may consider discussing with the property owners for 3 guest occupancy. Beds were large king size, with 6" soft mattress, 4 large extra soft pillows, two sofa cushions, and a cozy blanket. Linnens were clean and fresh. Room had a bedside table, a drawer, a separate centre table with two chairs, working condition Tata Sky TV, a Dressing table with drawer and a tube light right above the mirror for the extra lighting so that ladies can apply their eye liners flawlessly 😉. Electric Kettle was available in the room. A fresh towel was provided, however not much toiletries were given. The washroom had two liquid soap dispensers fitted on the wall - one for handwash and one for bathing. There was a mirror on the wall and a western seat at one side. The washroom was quite large-about 6ft × 10 ft. There was a working exhause at one corner to keep the washroom dry and free from the foul odour. The property has a centralized 24×7 working hot water system installed so all you need to do is open the left side faucet. 5G not available yet but I experienced 4G+ with my Airtel SIM. The property also provides not one but two free Wi-Fi networks so you'll get speed + redundancy.Room has entire glass wall facing the lake side so you can see the lake and mountain range while lying on the bed.Overall the room also gets a 5* +.Food: The usual menu was not much diverse, but the dishes we ordered were of first class quality. The portions were easily sufficient for one - two persons as the serving bowels were large. They have both Tap water and Packaged water available and you can choose either.Food would be a 4.5* for me.Staffs: Hotel staffs were friendly, but what I liked the most was the fact that they were extremely flexible. Whatever odd request I made, the staffs always replied with "Yes sir..we'll do sir.. Don't worry Dada..Ho jayega sir.. koi diqqat nhi" etc. My rating for the staffs would be 5*.Management : Hotel Manager Mr. Zubair Khan is a nice young chap. He is friendly in nature and answered all my stupid queries with a smile on his face. 5 * + for the management.Transport Facilities and sight seeing: The property lends their own bikes and scooties. They can also arrange four wheelers from Third party services/drivers. Road condition is quite well overall for two wheelers/four wheelers. Sattal and Naukuchia Tal are the other two nearby lakes that you can go visit. The scenic beauty is remarkable, and there are all sorts of activies like paragliding, boating, Zorb ball, Cable cycling, Zip line etc. I'd give it a 5* on this category.Overall it is a 5* feedback from me.**Pics: The pictues that I included were all taken by me during our stay. Some were inside the rooms, some from the roof and some were taken from the lawn. My phone couldn't do justice to the amazing wide angle view, so had to take Panoramas at times.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the tranquil beauty that surrounded me. Its a perfect escape from hustle. Hotel staff is really nice and attentive. Rooms are clean and having perfect view with lake and mountains. I can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this lakeside paradise.

Great value for money. You can not expect 5 star facilities with that price. The food was awesome that even room won't serve you. Try their Paneer butter masala and Aloo gobhi. Courteous staff.

The cost of aloo matar was half the price of the room. Food wasn't great. The deluxe rooms had a great view of the lake. Smoking friendly. A picture of the lake from balcony at night/day.
