Lavender Infopark Kochi

Decent Stay Close to Infopark, But the Breakfast Experience Was DisappointingI stayed at Lavender Business Hotel, Edachira during my recent visit to Kochi, and overall, it was a decent experience — though there are a few things prospective guests should know, especially if you're booking via Goibibo.🌃 Location & Property:The hotel is located very close to Infopark Kochi, just a short walk from the main gate. The area is quite busy, with tech parks, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The property is newly built, and you can see that in the room interiors and general cleanliness.🛏️ Rooms:Rooms are neat, clean, and compact — what you'd expect from a business hotel. It's not very spacious compared to some other hotels in this range, but everything is well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and there's an AC and a ceiling fan (a nice bonus). There's also a TV, but it's an older model (non-smart), and in this day and age — especially at a business hotel near a tech park — one would expect at least a smart TV with WiFi streaming capability.The bathroom, though small, was extremely clean. I personally loved the shower — it was large, and the hot water was continuous and steaming hot, which felt amazing after a long day. This is something many hotels fail to provide consistently, so full marks here.📶 Amenities:Wi-Fi is provided with login credentials and each login session lasts 8 hours. The speed was decent.Electric kettle, tea/coffee sachets, and basic toiletries were provided.However, no dental kit (toothbrush/paste), which is usually expected in business hotels in this price range.🍽️ The Breakfast Confusion Here’s the part that truly annoyed me — I paid around ₹400–₹500 extra on Goibibo for a room with breakfast included, assuming (like any traveler would) that it would be served at the hotel and be unlimited buffet-style or at least a proper set menu.But it was only after check-in that I learned that breakfast is not served at the hotel itself. Instead, they give a food coupon worth ₹200, which you can redeem at a nearby restaurant called Puttopia (walkable distance).The food at Puttopia was okay, but:₹200 is not sufficient for a decent breakfast there.It’s not unlimited.The fact that Goibibo charges ₹465 for a "breakfast included" room, when the hotel gives just a ₹200 coupon, felt very unfair and misleading. No prior mention of this setup during the booking.Goibibo seriously needs to be more transparent in such cases. Either reduce the extra charge for breakfast or mention clearly that the hotel gives only a ₹200 voucher for an external restaurant.🚗 Parking & Security:Parking is open-air, so if it rains, your vehicle will get wet.Security is good. Access card based entry, CCTV surveillance, and 24/7 reception staff give peace of mind. ✅ Pros:Clean, modern roomsSuper close to InfoparkRejuvenating hot showerGood WiFi and room serviceNew and well-maintained property❌ Cons:Breakfast arrangement is misleading (blame shared between Goibibo and hotel)Not value for money at ₹2.5K – ideal price would be ₹1.5K–₹1.8KRooms and bathrooms are smallNo smart TV or in-room dining menuNo brush/paste in toiletries 💭 Final Thoughts:If you’re a techie visiting Infopark or looking for a quick business stay, this hotel will serve the purpose — just don’t pay extra for the breakfast unless they fix that system. If the price was slightly lower or the breakfast system was better, this could easily have been a 5-star review. Hence, giving 4 stars.

We were in need of early check-in and this was informed and confirmed prior by calling them. But when we arrived, we had to wait for more than an hour to get a room. And to add to it, the attitude of one of the guys in the reception was horrible. He was very rude even to other staff and customers which spoiled the entire mood. To be honest, the rooms were good and neat. 4 stars for the room and 0 stars for the attitude and service.

Had a pleasant stay in Lavender and it's an ideal place for a 2 to 3 member family or a business stay as well. Customer friendly staff , good location etc are one of the key highlights. I had planned for a day stay and later extended my stay due to their hospitality. I would recommend others to experience Lavender and enjoy the stay

Decent hotel. Reasonably clean. Parking space available for 6 cars. Suitable for a quick stop to freshen up and get some shut-eye. Standard and deluxe rooms are very small and cramped. Very minimal toiletries provided. Only positives are closeness to restaurants and helpful nature and polite attitude of front desk staff.
