Lavender Plantation Stay Vagamon | Rooms in a Villa

Hotel is located in a very nice location surrounded by tea estate. The block we stayed was a villa kind and was a 2 bedroom & a hall accommodation on the first floor. The manager is very helpful, offers good service and can manage to speak in English. Other staff's language is restricted to Malyalam which makes difficult to obtain service like ordering food & requesting other service. Availability of hot water is not good as there is no geyser / water heater and bathrooms are supposed to be on solar which does not sufficiently heat-up in that weather and need for hot water in that weather is more. There is no mosquito mesh on the windows which is a minus. Vagamon viewpoints are nearby and easily accessible with an own vehicle. Property has decent open parking space for cars. They also have different kinds of accommodations like dorm for larger group. I would recommend this place for friends travelling in groups, however decent enough for families too.

The property is very good & is very well built & it's structure is very good too but the road's from the main entrance to the property's entrance is not in a good condition. It made of the red sand & is very steep so driving a vehicle on it is very difficult task to do, only if the driver is well trained only then they will be able to drive properly & this is the biggest disadvantage of this place. Apart from this other things were fantastic over here. The room, their staff's services were fantastic & even their staffs were very well behaved too. They even provided complementary breakfast to us & we even bought our meals from here itself which was just fine. There was no first aid kit available over here. Though it's located in a bit interior ares & is not on the main road but still it's reachable & it's location was very good & even the view from here was good too. The surrounding of this hotel is just awesome.

nice stay. u will be staying inside the tea plantation.. location excellent.. want to go off road for some distance. but it's Ok. Rooms : don't expect 3 star hotel range rooms. it's older building strongly need interior. all are wooden cupboards which are broken and some can't able to use. kitchen available. but walls are having holes. interior looks bad. other than that hot water full time, food they will prepare really good. TV mostly all channels available.. it's outer from vagamon.. it is 7 km outer. Fresh strawberry are available.. really good. they have their own plantation over there. final view: if u r nature lover want different experience can choose surely. but don't expect high range rooms. if u r k with these. strongly recommend..

It was really a memorable experience in Lavender Resort. The resort is right in the middle of tea plantation. 3.5 km from city centre. The ambience is amazing. Apart from the mesmerising view of tea plantation, there is a small stream following through the resort. The sound of the stream creates an excellent ambience. The manager and all the workers gave a warming treat for us. Also, the food was very tasty. We ordered Chappathi and Chicken Curry for the supper. They have separate dining hall in each cottage. They served hot food. If you want to enthral in the beauty of tea plantation, I recommend this place. I have uploaded some of the photos. The photo says it all.
