Mahal Farms is tucked away quietly on the road leading to MES inspection Bungalow, about 1.5 km away from Kasauli Bus Station. We stayed in the room at the bottom and it had a great view. So i can only imagine what the upper rooms would have provided. The room is well equipped for the price charged. The staff were courteous and accommodative to our needs. They would take order for breakfast and dinner from our room and bring it at the requested time. Menu is varied, food was great and price reasonable. The stretch from main road down to Mahal farms is quite narrow. The climb up, if you are walking, is steep. If you ask the guys there, there's a shortcut to the road leading to market (Heritage market) and bus station from there. Buses to Dharampur stops at the shop right above Mahal farms. There's another stop about halfway to the bus station where you can catch buses to Kalka as well as Dharmapur.

Such a great place to stay! The rooms are really well maintained and what's amazing is the serene location of the property. There's a lot of peace and quiet around it and but it's best to explore the area as there are some houses from the British Era around the resort. Snow covered peaks in the distance and amazing valleys can be seen from the balcony and we loved every moment of our stay there. Though the access road to the resort is really narrow, and parking can be a bit of a problem, but the staff is very polite and co-operative and they do their best to accommodate all your needs. Johnny, the caretaker is an amazing person and he even joined me for a game of table tennis! They don't serve lunch since most visitors spend the day out in Kasauli. Johnny cooks delicious Dal Makhni though. Will definitely stay here again.

I would recommend this stay to everyone who's travelling to Kasauli as this is amongst best. Everything about this stay is just perfect but few top rated are : Just 3kms away from Manki Point (which is a must visit), around 2km away from Kasauli Market and sunrise point. Another best rated is food (they cook delicious food, served to your room, freshly cooked with fresh veggies. And this stay has a perfect view ( for which one would love to stay one extra day) Another things that I liked the most are - Parking space, Luggage pickup, Clean Room&washroom. I would definately visit this place again. Thank you Mahal Farms for such an amazing stay♥️

Stayed there for one night in February 2020. Room was excellent. Went with family and kid. Room had all basic needs including room heater, kettle, tea bags, geyser, fridge. Nice view of the mountain from the room. Felt like staying in the mountain. Had food for dinner and breakfast. For dinner I had to give the order at 6 as they make fresh food. So, it takes time for preparing the food. The food was served hot and was tasty. Overall it was a good stay. It was an excellent stay.

Mr Mahal is gem of a person .try south end cafe on dharampur road it's really good. try their grilled sandwiches they are nice. place order for food well in advance as it's not a hotel but a homestay. it's one of the best and cheapest accommodation in kasauli and it will give a far better experience than staying in some apartment like hotels....a must if you visit kasauli.

The hotel is situated around 2 kms from mall road and is situated in a a peacefull environment facing hills. felt just like home. Being a homestay, the restaurant services are timely and not round the clock..The last supper is served at 9.00 pm and the breakfast/morning tea is at 8.00 am. Overall i found the stay at mahal farms fantastic and love to stay in future also.

very nice property,,,near and clean,,A young kid ,Future owner of the property RANVEER welcomed us and taking very good care of everything ,,,Food was also very good ,,,decent walking distance from main kasauli market,,farm was already booked otherwise we would stay for one more day here ,,,anyways next time will book for two days,,overall very good experience

I booked the accommodation online so the surprise factor was there. And, I'm happy to share that it was an amazing experience to stay there. The location of the property is awesome. The staff is polite and helpful. The only improvement point is the variety of food they serve (very limited). Overall we had a wonderful time there.

Excellent Wonderful hotel. These words are less for this beautiful place. The owners Mr and Mrs Mahal are very nice and friendly. The staff especially Mr johny is courteous and soft spoken and always helpful. This hotel is better than a five star hotel in himachal . Very clean rooms bathrooms . Wish to come here oftenly.

It was pleasure staying here. It will give you a proper feel of Home Stay. Lovely view from cottages.The owners are very welcoming and supportive. The food was delicious and cooked by Mrs. Mahal herself. Would love to revisit again. Please don't forget to order Aloo Paranthas in breakfast..!

Overall service was awesome. Staff was very cooperative and all required things are available in the room. View was good I have 2 year old baby, for her we need someone from the staff to boil the milk and with just one call helpers are readily available at your door step.

Hotel location is too good. Our lower level room was awesome with just opening into the mountain jungle. Only thing that i suggested to the caretaker was to fix a small gate there at the opening as Dogs could come in.

Safe and friendly. Value for money. Ask the management the short cuts of Kasauli to save time and energy. Dont take your cars traffic is already bad. Avoid cars.
