As a solo budget traveler, this hotel was more than satisfactory for me. I got it as the cheapest option in ibibo but the service was not bad. I took the room on January when it's chilly. So I did not need the AC, I didn't turn on the tv either so can't say about these two things. The room and the baatein were both sqeakly clean and well lit. Both the room and the bathroom had good mirrors. The hotel is conveniently located at a stone's throw from the station which you can really walk if you do not have huge luggage. Hot water is available between 5 am and 12 noon.

this is my second visit to hotel maharaja. I was in double bed room no 305 with attached western type bathroom. Room was quite comfortable and clean. bathroom was properly cleaned. Owner of the hotel is very mild in nature and Receptionist Virendra hi is very friendly. Location is plus point of the hotel, it is merely 500 Mtrs from Railway Station and famous chaura Bazar, chawal Bazar, daal Bazar . transportation is always available nearby. I always prefer to stay here.
