Misty Cliff Cottage Kasauli

A good option for travellers looking for peace, quiet and basic amenities. The location is far away from the mall road and is either accessible by walking or by a cab. One also needs to climb steep stairs to reach the rooms, which may not be advisable for elderly. Other than that the rooms are clean, well-kept and have an awesome view of the valley below. The highlight for me was the food which was delicious and way better than many other places in Kasauli. The host is also well-informed and very accommodating to your every need and will make sure that all your needs are met.

Rooms were decent, cleanliness was ok. Room service was good. Advantage is close proximity to main Kasauli market area. One can also reach there on foot. Bathroom cleanliness could be improved a bit. There were stains in few areas and corners. The staff and the owner are very courteous and helpful. Overall a good experience for a budget homestay. Their terrace dining area is also good, but less used. The night time view of Chandigarh city lights is wonderful.
