Hey! Just wanted to share my experience at Nakshathra Royal Stay in Palani, since you know I went for the darshan. The location is awesome, super close to the temple and the guy at check-in was really helpful, giving us tips about the poojas and how to get around. The room itself was big and had everything we needed. BUT… OMG, the bathroom was a DISASTER! The toilet was legit dirty, like REALLY dirty. 🤢 We called reception and a housekeeper came right away, admitted it hadn’t been cleaned, and cleaned it for us. BUT… he then left the toilet brush right next to the sink! 🤮 And the brush he used on the seat?! Ugh, I can't even describe how gross it was. Honestly, the housekeeping standards are seriously lacking. We ended up buying sanitizer to clean the whole toilet area ourselves before we could even think about using it. Seriously, if you stay there, DO NOT use the toilet without cleaning it first! And it wasn't just the toilet. The mirror above the sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the hotel opened, covered in stains. 😫 The AC was just okay, even turning it down to 17 didn't make a huge difference. They offered us another room after we complained, but honestly, after seeing how "clean" their toilets were, we didn't trust another room to be any better and we already cleaned the one we had. So, bottom line: great location, friendly staff, spacious rooms... but the cleanliness is like a cheap motel, not a 3-star hotel! They REALLY need to sort out their cleaning standards. Royal Stay is just a name, the reality is far from royal. Just a heads up! 😉

I booked this hotel through Goibibo my check in time is 2 pm i arrived early around 12.30 pm one Mr.Veeramany and Mr.Velusamy welcomed us and they allotted the room immediately and the room was spacious and neat and good looking they provided 1 ltr water bottle and toiletries. The staffs are so welcoming and with hospitality they attended the needs immediately. The stay was excellent and i want to stay again when income again to Palani. Again a special thanks to Mr.Veeramany and Mr.Velusamy. Everything the place where the hotel situated, room, working people and the restaurant

Chose this hotel as it is a just few month old property. Booked family room which was huge and comfortable for 4 people. Toilet seat was broken. Towels and toiletries were not provided until asked for. Room service is slow and had to follow up on requests. Food in the attached restaurant was excellent but the dining place is small leading to wait times during breakfast and dinner. In Palani this seems to be one of the better rated properties but our expectations were higher for the price paid.

Rooms are clean, but the comfort was reused multiple times without washing and when asked for replacement, they dont have any extra. I was told that they just change only the cover for the new guests and dont clean the comfort.

You have charged me extra than the actual charge for a premium room.. the actual charge at hotel was 3500+12% GST.. you charged me 634 RS extra..
