There are plenty of hotels in Pondi. If you make sudden plans and head there for the weekend, you'll have pretty less options but still can find decent hotels for around *******. And really pathetic ones under ******. I recommend you to book before hitting the road and you get a great hotel like this one for under ***** bucks. Everything great other than the location. But it doesn't matter as everyone rents a bike or a scooter in Pondi. Value for money if booked in Goibibo.

Despite late night check-in, the staff had kept the room ready. Room + bathroom was clean and all switches + TV-AC all functional with functioning remotes. Car parking and kettle availability were the only minor miss. Lift was also functional and beneficial since we were travelling with kids and luggage. Location is a major plus

Location is excellent. Promenade Beach, MG Road, Mission Street, Bussy Street(which have all the best cafes), White town all within walking distance. Even unaccompanied ladies can roam around till late night as area is busy (depending on season). Should work on providing basic amenities and better service.

Language problem is a normal issue in Pondicherry. + points √ Mostly tourist places & main market at walkable distance. √ In budget. -ve points √ 90% Tamil channels available on tv. √ Restaurant facility not available in hotel. √ Language problem is normal specially Hindi.

Its a decent family hotel within budget. From the outside it looks like a house converted as hotel. No dining inside the hotel but the staff was really courteous. The location is just right. Everything is within 5 mins walking distance. Perfect for a family vacation stay

I had a delightful stay in this hotel.The ambiance was nice, neat & clean room and service was satisfying. No complimentary breakfast & WiFi. Hotel is situated in a residential area however sea beach is at a walking distance.

Overall i m fully satisfied with New royal Inn. Hotel services, staff and room quality everything was fine enough. No hassle as such i faced with it. Only the location was bit tricky to trace. Altogether had a decent stay.
