During my stay, the peacefulness was palpable, allowing for a truly rejuvenating experience. One of the highlights of my visit was the well-equipped kitchen facilities provided by Old British House. Having the option to prepare my own meals added a homely touch to my stay, allowing me to savor local ingredients and flavors at my own pace. The kitchen became a gathering space, fostering delightful conversations with fellow guests. Furthermore, the presence of two adorable cats roaming the premises added an extra layer of warmth and companionship. Their playful antics and gentle purrs added to the cozy atmosphere, making me feel right at home. And let's not forget the sweet magnolia tree that graced the surroundings with its delicate fragrance, adding a touch of natural beauty to this idyllic retreat. Overall, my experience at Old British House was nothing short of delightful, and I can't wait to return to this charming haven of tranquility.

A nice old colonial style Bunglow of Rajpur Road Dehradun.full Marks for the peace and the location.Garden facing rooms are small, but good enough for a couple who are traveling light.The host is caring and cordial and the attendant Mr Rajesh is always on his heels to help.our stay was only for two nights and it was a personal visit so we could not spend much time at the property.The parantha served in the morning was tasty.The icing on the cake is that you get a kitchen at your disposal so if you want a quick bite or a cup of tea during the night..help yourself....Next time?YES is our answer..thank you Team Old British home

the best thing about the place is -MUSTAANG😊..This is a summer place for sure, but not a place I would like in winter..the room gets so cold, literally freezing cold..even though we got bonfire in the fireplace.room heater, fireplace..all are chargeable.next thing is- you can't eat in room..that's a rule but I don't think I saw it when I was booking.there are dining tables outside room...all good if only it wasn't winter

A pleasant and peaceful stay at this place. The owners and staff were polite and friendly. The rooms were clean and definitely gave an old rustic colonial vibe. They also have a common kitchen where you can cook your own food (get your own ingredients though). All other cafes and the market areas are also nearby. There's a great momos place just near to this place, do not miss it!!
