PALM VALLEY RESORTS

Below are the concerns which was faced from our side when we stayed at the hotel. 1. false information about Swimming Pool:- ..  we did have a kid accompanied with us, we were really looking out for an swimming pool. Once we reached and where we started proceeding registration process at the reception and we started enquiring about the Swimming Pool, One Mr. Sudershan (Being represented as an Manager/Management Team) gave an straight answer that there are no pool available and he did not suggest / talk about the pool which should be available in an near by location ..Also we do remember calling f up the Hotel.. and it was confirmed about the pool and the respond what we got is an “YES” telephonically, when questioned the same, he stated that we should have and called up an incorrect no. as no one would have confirmed an incorrect information from the Hotels end. 2. No Room Service:- The Hotel refused to serve food in rooms and they wanted us to use the restaurants and left out with the Buffet & they do not serve Alcarte items. The lame reason provided by them is that the hotel is full and busy. 3. Wifi:- When we asked wifi password, they told us that the wifi does not work inside the room, as it does not have much strength. Once we tried it from outside still the signal was very very weak. We are forced to depend upon the WIFI as the Vodafone and Jio sim does not get signal in their place (completely nil). 4. Drainage clogging:- Some times when flushing out water in the toilet, it would bump it out from behind the commode, resulting dirt being flushed out. When we complained, he just told us that their was an drainage blockage resulting water being flushed out & now it is fixed. On the check out date we faced the same issue & their flush tank takes lot of time to fill water and the Manager says the normal time frame for filling is ten minutes. We were speechless seeing all these issues, also his responses were rude and was not at all professional, his tone was high!!!  .....Just imagine how tough it would have been for me and my family dealing with these type of people.

Biggest issue what I face was table fan on upper floor. Which is not going to cool you in normal days. They dont have the extra fan also. Day is horible but night is ok. Number of time power cut, in night it took 20 mins to star ther genset, that is also after we called 2 times. Fisrt time person said ther is a power cut it will take 30 min to come back. I told why you are not starting DG, he told we will in 5 min. Sleeping without fan for 30 mins, imagine the level of so called RESORT. Food was too good by qlty, qty and taste.

We had taken a holiday with palm valley resort in coorg, which we booked. We had booked an ac deluxe room, but on arrival we found out that they had given us an AC room behind their convention centre. On the last night of our stay, the manager came to us telling us that we have to leave next day at 9:00 am, instead of the regular checkout time at 12:00 pm. On our refusal, he began to force us to agree and insulted us. The entire holiday was spoiled because of his behaviour. It was a really awful experience....

Very few activities to do around, it would be good to set up a ping pong table or a pool table, carrom chess boards. Apart from that nice ambience, generally clean, very cooperative and courteous staff, food was good despite limited options for breakfast..Overall nice place
