The three stars are only due to the hospitality of the staff there. They were very helpful and kind. One thing that I'd mention about the location is, expect to climb almost 200 meters with your luggage because there's no road. Your cab will leave you at the end of the road and then you'll have to walk. It gets very cold in the dorms and there is no heater even on a paid basis. The views are good from the terrace. There is 24 hours hot water supply but you'll have to manage with chilled water in jet spray. There is a cafe where you can get tea coffee and other food items. Don't order maggi because they charge 70 for a ten rupees Maggi and won't even allow you to cook yourself while expecting you to wash your dishes if you ordered something. This was the weirdest rule I came across. There's always a kitchenette to use if you have to clean your dishes. I went to Nubra valley and even though it was a bit remote, maggi costed only 40 rupees. There's a theatre room where you can watch movies or sports with your hostelmates. My experience was average. I hope the hostel works on the shortcomings.

I was here for a week and I just loved the vibe especially Aakash & Karan the caretakers of this property took care of our needs as well, definitely recommend especially you could come with your friends and enjoy movie night in the theatre room play games e.t.c. The vibe, friends I made here and working from here. The internet connectivity is very good and if you face any problem Aakash is your man to go to.

beautiful place in the middle of high ranges. definitely recommend this place where people from a around sits and drinks masala tea in the freezing atmosphere. my stay was like I was at home for long time. people working professional staff and guided by the host and owner all the time. vibe is here

I selected this hostel and the room mainly because it says "Mountain view" and when I got there they don't have Mountain view in the room nor that they accepted to refund me, and there was no way to request a refund.

Anyone planning to come to leh ladakh I highly recommend you to stay here. Solo travel or group travel it's best for your stay. You'll meet Byron here Pet dog of the hostel he'll become your friend instantly.

Nice, quiet location & clean place and good for solo traveller. Thought I would like them to improve their terrace seating etc, its more in a rundown situation currently. Otherwise, you can blindly go for it.
