Stay experience was Good, hotel staff was really awesome ,polite and co-operative... only pool water was not that clean i found and curtains teared ... but rest all things are good.

Read this review carefully to exactly know misconceptions and issues this hotel has1) It is not near any lake side or mountain..the distance to reach nearest lake which is Fateh Sagar is 2-3km and is not walkable distance(Attached images)2) Its not worth the pay, in peak season you would be paying 8-10k and getting service of 2-3 star3) Breakfast is not buffet and is average..Most of items served are cold and you need to request the staff re-warm again.4) Room size is big but amenities like heat ...more

Very bad, they say its a boutique hotel but its not even a hotel, my ordeal started the moment i entered the property, first I was offered a room at 3rd floor with no lift even when I had a 2 year old with me, finally after stating the same multiple times, i was offered a room at 2nd floor. Then started the most horrible experience when i ordered the food, first the kichdi for my daughter was delivered in 45 mins and then our dinner in 1 hr 30 minutes, they say its all made with fresh ingredient ...more

Akshay niwas is more of a private home property than being a hotel . staff especially devendra was very courteous . They served a very elaborate breakfast that we enjoyed . kids also had a good time . swimming pool is there but of no use as there some construction work was going on bang next property . There is no privacy if pool is supposed to be used by ladies. overall a pleasant experience of stay and hospitality .
