The river view from the restaurant is beautiful. But the room and bathroom is not clean enough. The paint on the ceiling is peeling. And the bathroom window is open so anyone can see you in the bathroom from the nearby stairs to the terrace.

it's good budget that's it parking safe. eat at mango tree restaurant awsome ambience walkable distance to virupakshi temple we like room

Room was not clean. Staff behavior was average. Amenities were not enough. Lack of services was there. Room was small. There was no dining facility. There was no complimentary services.

The hotel/guest house is in Hampi village, near to Virupaksha Temple. This guest house consist of 2-3 nearby houses and is run by a family. It also has its own small canteen but there's no complimentary breakfast & food items are very costly. The non ac room we have stayed was small , having 1 double bed & a chair. The bathroom & toilet are shared between other two rooms. As compared to the charges we've paid (Rs. **/- for 24 hrs) , the room was not worth it. The high room rates were due to Chri ...more

Overall Good . Owner is really good. If you are travelling as Solo trip its good place to stay. By walk you can reach to main temple and main hills for sun raise and sunset hippiee Island.

They have very small rooms. Matress and pillow are of low quality. Bedsheet was were very old and dirty. Towels were also old and dirty. Floor is very old styled tile. No stand to keep mobile for charging. Cafeteria was not much clean. Only a double bed is occupying full space. If one extra mattress will be kept on the floor then there will be no space to walk to bathroom. I feel the rooms way too much high priced.

My stay was decent in this property as the hospitality and the room services was good. Conduct of the staff was also good and it has made my stay more smooth and comfort.

First of all this is not a river view. They have two home stays(guest houses) opposite to each other. As per my understanding They will give river front guest house if you are a foreiner(not from india). I made a call to the guest house guy about attached bathroom and went with booking,but it will not work all the time. Overall it is not worth the money spent on this booking. But you find any disturbances(only for this i am giving 3 stars)
