it's actually is a lodge and i feel it is little bit congested. hygiene is ok-ok, the bedsheet they used is bit old but i like the mattress . for a rural place like karaikudi i feel that atchaiya residency is overall good.

At first the residency receptionist not aware of the online booking while we arrive there eventhough I call and inform before 5 hours of arrival.Then urgently they gave one room. But the room was not much clean. Especially restroom.Then I asked for change room. But that time not available. So next day they change room for me. 2nd room was ok to stay.But still the cleanliness need to improve.

The rooms are very average. I booked deluxe double ac rooms, but they gave something else that looks like the one from non ac rooms photos with two single beds. Rooms are small as well. It's cheap.

They are allowing 15 + men to drink and party themselves
Very uncomfortable
Shouting and whispering all the night
Not a pleasant stay
