Host was extremely uncooperative. Service was poor - nothing was provided unless we called multiple times. I booked the same room for 3 days, but on the third day they gave us a completely different (and worse) room
They ruined the experience by accusing us of staining towels - there were only minor mud marks, nothing serious. Instead of resolving things politely, they blamed us. Very disappointing behavior and unprofessional management.

I am a wind energy scientist from IIT Kanpur who had come for HST-2024 at IIT Mandi.
The manager at Bir valley retreat was welcoming to discussing ideas and my projects on wind energy and quite hospitable.
The food is great here... and so are the staff. The view is pretty as everywhere all over the mountains. but most importantly the paragliding booking agents are at walkable distance since this is closer to the landing site.

Located at a walking distance from the landing site this property is one of the best in Bir. The staff is very cooperative and courteous. The rooms are spacious and airy. The best part is the open space in front and back of your room.
