For the last 3 years, while going on a journey to visit Lord Badrinath, we stay in this hotel on the way. The hotel is right on the main highway and there is ample parking space for vehicles. The rooms in the hotel are good, the view of the valleys from the balcony is excellent, the food is delicious and the room rent and food charges are also reasonable.

I and my friends come to Shivpuri Rishikesh every year for river rafting and always stay at Chanakya Resort. This time in the month of July, due to monsoon, we could not do river rafting but enjoyed the games in 3 bungee jumping and adventure sports parks adjacent to Chanakya Resort. The most special thing was that during the rains, clouds had descended over the forests and valleys around the hotel, the view of which was spectacular.

Our stay at the hotel was good. The location is very good, right on the main highway, did not have to search for the hotel. There are hills and forests around the hotel which provide a good environment. There are 3 bungee jumping located just behind the hotel and many adventure sports parks and nearby there is also Ganga and river rafting. The food at the hotel was quite tasty which is a very good thing. At night, the lighting of the hotel and the 200-300 meter high bungee jumping towers behind the hotel were giving a foreign feel.

Location is very good, on main highway, surrounding forest and valley, adjoining 3 adventure park, 3 bunjee jumping, near river rafting point, view from balcony was amazing, food was delicious, must try kadhai paneer
