i am not satisfied with their behaviour
they are asking for extra charges if we are 10 to 15 minutes late. i have booked and stayed at the hotel a lot of times but this is the first time i have experienced this kind of worst behaviour from the reception and management.

Ginger hotel is next to IITM and thats the biggest advantage of staying here. Its on the 11th Floor inside the IIT Research Park which has lot of start up companies. The rooms are compact but cosy. Breakfast is good and the restaurant QMIN serves tasty food. The front office staff and the restaurant staff are very courteous.
Proximity to IITM & IIT research park and Ramanujam IT park

I stayed at Ginger Chennai for three days. I chose the hotel solely because of its convenient commute to IIT Madras and Research Park. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
The service was poor, and the staff were loud and unprofessional. There was no WiFi connection throughout my stay, despite multiple complaints. I also reported issues with the in-room phone, WiFi, and refrigerator several times, but nothing was repaired during my stay.

my experience at ginger chennai was horrible. the wifi was not working throughout the stay. i had to separately ask for available items with the booking such as water, towels, and cups. they did not provide tea or coffee pouches. the refrigerator was not working. european closet was very dirty.
also the phone in the room was not woking

We expect a better property and services from an IHCL brand. Very disappointed with the stay. Stayed for one night and checked out by morning 9 and checked In to another hotel in the same city

the hotel is purely a business hotel and has all the convenience for business travelers to tidel park and other it related companies. it is not suitable if you are a tourist or leisure traveler. i came for a conference nearby and was happy with all the amenities at the hotel. the staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is great location overlooking the city from the 11th floor. there are some sofas and books if you want to relax after your meal! the restaurant manager devender yadav is ...more

Stay at Ginger Taramani was very comfortable. Its close proximity to IIT Madras is the biggest advantage. The front office staff Sagar & Jhansi are quite helpful and courteous. Morning breakfast is very good and Qmin food is good & tasty.
