this is a neatly tucked abode in the middle of the green vastness. mukeshji is a superb host, knowledgeable guide and a great human being. if you love the greens, birds and a candid conversation with great food, this is the place to stay in bharatpur. this needs to be on your bucket list to experience local culture and village life. sometimes mukeshji may be up for a walk through the village while entertaining you with folklore and great conversations. ask him and you might get lucky.

It was a perfect stay at IBIS House Farm Stay. The room was clean and well maintained. It was like a 4 star property. The host is very helpful and friendly.

At the very beginning, I faced an issue which soured the whole mood of our group upon arrival. It showed some non-existent place within a narrow market lane which is actually 7.5 km away from the actual property. We lost 30 mins going round and around. I had to hear a lot of criticism from my in-laws (whom i was taking along) for being tired after a 3 hour journey and facing this harassment etc etc. Next thing is that please beware that this is a HOMESTAY and not a HOTEL. Our stay was very comfortable.
The property is located close to the bird sanctuary and easy to locate. The property owner Mukesh went out of his way to help us sort an issue with our car. The food was very delicious and customized to our taste by Chandar.

Ibis House Farm Stay is a wonderfully managed by 2 brothers: Mukesh and Chandar. They are joined by their father Ratanjee, who is an avid birder himself with long experience, along side who's who of bird watching community in India. He has vast knowledge of the different categories of birds and knows exactly where to find them. Being able to spot a hard to spot highly camouflaged bird is his specialty.
While Mukesh engages you well with day's activities, Chandar is extremely hospitable. He cooks great meals and takes care of housekeeping needs, flawlessly.
