We expected to checkin at 10 pm night and sleep but Our train was delayed so we reached this hotel at 8 am. We asked if we can cancel for a refund and they said “NO”. I can understand it’s not their problem. It’s mistake of Indian railways. They agreed to checkout at 1 pm (1 hour extra) with no extra cost. Overall I liked this hotel , their breakfast. We were more happy if they give us atleast partial refund as we used this room only for 4 hours.

our stay was pleasant overall. the double room was spacious enough for three, with clean bedding and good ventilation. staff were polite and helped arrange transport quickly. the complimentary breakfast buffet had decent options—idli, dosa, puri, pongal and cereals—which kept us full each morning, though the menu repeated daily.
location is a highlight: walking distance to the railway station and easy access to local sights.
value for money, if you prioritize location and basic comforts. would recommend for families or groups of three needing a central stay with reliable breakfast.

Ilapuram is a well aged but well-kept comfort hotel that is an excellent place to stay. During my various visits to Vijayawada almost three or four times I stayed here.

Very poor. Charged for water. No water served in room. No tea coffee arrangement in room, reception told 24 hour room service available and tea can be ordered anytime. At 5am, no tea was available, room service said its available after 630am as there is no milk. House keeping staff came to room and asked for tips.
Hotel is rundown, bathroom drain clogged. Water goes very slow.
