it was a good stay at hotel.. got early check-in. very convenient to both shiv temple as well as ellora caves, just walking distance. food is also good. has a very nice view in backyard!!

Hotel Kailas is at great location, 10 min walk to Grishneshwar temple and 2 mins walk to Ellora Caves entry gate. Hotel has very good Cabins which is covered with lush green large trees. We can see Ellora caves right from garden. We did not try food due to timings but they have Veg+NonVeg+Bar. Hotel has parking outside which can accommodate about 20 cars.
Manager/POC is very good an helpful. gave us room 1 hr before check-in time as it was available.
Overall loved the hotel and surely will stay here again.

Excellent hotel 2min walk to famous ellora caves and 5 min walk to Grishneswar temple.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kailas Hotel, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is perfectly located with breathtaking views of the Ellora Caves mountains from its garden, making it a serene and picturesque place to stay.
The property is well-suited for families, being both children- and elder-friendly. The staff and service were exceptional, always courteous and attentive to our needs.

The rooms were quite old and the restroom was also not that good looking, insects, frogs and snails in balcony. Very bad maintenance of property and no TV

The property is at very good location, 200 mitre from Ellora Caves and 900 mitres from Grishneswar Mahadev temple. It has an inhouse restaurant and bar. Food is good. Rooms are quite good and big(rock cottage for AC rooms), fitted with solar geysers. They have generator for powerbackup, garden for kids and most important the views are awesome. Must recommended. Also they have a large parking.

Cons:
1) Room were damp and uncomfortable stay. Feeling like bedsheet are directly bring from washing machine after cleaning. Not good at all
2) Restaurant food charge very high. e.g., one plate plain rice Rs. 170, one plate Puri vaji Rs. 150, One plate Chicken curry 4 pcs. Rs. 370 etc. Also, lack of proffesionalism to the restaurant staff to charge premium amount to the food.

Good property in bad hands. First their AC rooms are not listed on Goibibo which is still fine, but sc rooms are overpriced (double of non AC) and AC was not even working (they took some 3 hours to repair it). Insects were all over (outside and inside the room). The staff was rude, their breakfast was not ready at 9. they didn't take orders of lunch (said they were occupied in a new batch of guests checking in). You will think you have booked a premium property but don't waste money here, this is nothing more than a railway dormitory.
