No intercom, no cups for tea, no sugar sachet. I asked for mineral water and about to pay then only they said its free. !

There is not much occupancy in the hotel seems like the Hotel is running for BAR purposes only, Room rent is high compared to 4-star hotels. The intercom is not working we need to call directly from our phone to reception to get things done. For breakfast, there is no selection it is not buffet and only Dosa is available. Rest everything is okay

Not recommended at all
We arrived at hotel kalai at about 5:50 p.m. on 01-02-2020
There was no light in the lobby and the lift was not working
there was no boy for room service
I myself had to carry the luggage by stairs to my room
the room was very stuffy and smelly
AC was not working properly
The restaurant was closed there was no food available
But one positive thing I would like to tell you is that the behaviour of the staff was very polite
other than that I do not recommend this hotel
Very very bad experience 🙄

breakfast is not available before 9Am. All other hotels have breakfast from 7Am onwards. Charged 30Rs instead of 15Rs for bottle extra bottles of water, that too is not chilled. Rooms were too expensive for the facility they have provided.

Nice for stay. frm Kayamkulam Jn station to Hotel is 2.5km. Auto will take Rs 80 for drop. Further there is only two average restaurants near by which serves chicken, beef and fish. wrt to food @ hotel the kitchen food is ok.
