Stay was awesome and the rooms were comfy. Staff behaviour and room service is also awesome. Special mention to the manager Mr. Avatar, he is such a cool guy and very friendly. he shared some of his writings and it was lovely. I'm gonna miss the bonfire and ghost stories while having a glass of delicious hot chocolate.

why people giving it 5 star? I live in a mixed dorm with 4 beds, but have no idea if I'm living in a room or a bus stand. everybody is just using bathroom 100 times & I can't sleep.

excellent property, pleasant and well behaved staff,just first day here, smiling boy Suraj is very helpful and so is the sweet girl at the reception,I don't know her name,they are very helpful. a must place to stay.

The location of the hostel is really nice with a wonderful view of the mountain, calm and quiet area ,safe for women traveller's..The location provide additional benefits of viewing the main areas by walking, everything was nice except the staffs behavior..we felt they were little bit rude.
hospitality can be improved,whether you are tired or whatever you need to behave with traveller's nicely

it's more than a hostel, the live free hostel, mcleodganj. what an ambience, what a location, just everything was more than perfect. and all the staff here are very helpful and gentle in nature. this hostel has a german shepherd dog named rocket and his presence makes the stay here more memorable. with everything, the feeling of staying in this hostel is so good that you don't want to leave it.
