even as an NRI and senior doctor/professor, I felt unwelcome due to the indifferent and at times rude behavior of the staff. I received a call at 11:30 AM asking bluntly about check-out time, with no courtesy or standard hospitality—unlike other hotels that politely check in about your stay. If this attitude continues, MPT hotels risk losing public trust. It's unfortunate, as the impact will be on the government’s image, not on staff whose jobs are secure.

First of all, the location of this hotel is the best in bhopal. There can't be any better location. The views are awesome. If it rains, you would feel like Bombay or nainital, depending on what you prefer. Rooms are OK. Three categories 1. AC Cottage - Basic Room, Old construction 2. AC Mini Deluxe - New Rooms, Good Interior 3. AC Deluxe - Large rooms, good interior Each room has a mesmerising view of the lake. Take a room with balcony and enjoy your evening looking at the lake. the stay was overall good. rooms were clean, service was good. but the breakfast was not satisfactory and the dinner was served too late after ordering otherwise the staying experience was good.

overall a good stay. excellent location and view from the balcony. spacious rooms. bathroom needs better cleaning, breakfast is average. do remember that reaching the cottage requires climbing 60+ steps from the reception area.
