Pro: The caretaker is really good. He cooked really good (vegetarian only) meal. The host are also welcoming. Con: 10 km from Dalhousie. There is nothing to do near this place. The room we stayed did not have a single window, so it was dark even during the day.But they tried to make up for it by giving a lawn.

It was one of a memorable stay at Peace & Pines. Me and my family visited Dalhousie and stayed at this Home stay for 4 nights and 3 days from 26th December to 30th December and truly had a great time. The owner, Mr. Pankaj Thakur is really polite helpful and a gem of a person. He made every possible effort to make our stay comfortable and a memorable one. Well the stay gives you a homely feeling and it feels like a home at another place, the owner welcomes you like a family, the food is always fresh and it feels that it is prepared in the home's kitchen, peace n pines truly defines the meaning of a homestay properly

Very good home stay. Just one minute distance from main road(Banikhet toll barrier) Although they have one main room but it's fully equipped,well decorated, neat n clean, no ordur /smell from room or wash room. Owner pankaj ji other family members are very nice n cooperative. Full value for money.
