The room and staff are good but the area is not good especially for a pure vegetarian family because of the slaughterhouse beside the hotel.

The room, facilities in room and behavior of staff was at best. Comparing to other options available in Matheran, I will definitely suggest to book rooms here. They even allow you to keep your luggage even after checkout without any cost. So that you can easily enjoy your remaining trip of Matheran without thinking for luggage. Rooms are quiet wide comparing to other options in Matheran, only thing is the last lane towards hotel is some what narrow.

Rooms are good. One can sit in the balcony and enjoy the beautiful climate around. Cleanliness is also good. Room service is a problem. There is no intercom system in place, so one has to visit their office for any service requirment.

Hill view in balcony and room was also good. budget friendly homestay and also the home made food. nice experience.

It was great stay at Raigad palace. I will stay here again when I again visit matheran. balcony valley view is awesome owner was very co-operative. Ready to provide help. they provide tasty home made food. Amazing stay

Location is in main market but the way to reach lodge is very slippery moreover there is no light but good stay in budget with balcony and view only concerns is their check out is at 10am and if you check out even one minute late they start knocking your door from 10.1am till you check out, so I found that not weird, but rest was fine.
