Terrible Experience, Misleading Photos & Unhygienic StayI booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at Hotel Satkar, Mahabaleshwar for but I couldn’t even stay for a single night. The hotel was extremely dirty, and the toilets were like public washrooms, shared and poorly maintained. The condition of the rooms and property was horrible unhygienic, dusty, and totally uncomfortable.What’s worse, the photos shown on their website or booking page are completely misleading! The hotel location is 5-10 minutes walking distance from the market.Manager and staff was polite and helpful.
But considering the price Rs.3000 per day, this hotel needs lots of maintenance. TV was not working. Hot water is for 7am to 9 am only, very low pressure in water taps and toilet spray. walls and ceilings were too much damaged. Though we had breakfast only, but that Food quality was below average. free Wifi is only in dining area.
safe to stay with family. But needs to maintain basic facilities like TV and geyser.

It is near to market and bus stand. Easy to be found. Room was good. Only drawback is washroom. It could have been more clean. It was little smelly.

Stay was avg. Hotel needs some maintainance in terms of handshower some more cleaning. However staff was very nice and friendly. Hotel location was good near bus stand.

That hotel don’t have working air conditioners in room they offer me another room but that room also not neat and clean actually my check was at 11am but I check in 5pm that means they have more time to make sure all things are proper or not in room but they fail to give me what they commented and aslo next day don’t have hot water they provide me by bucket which is unacceptable so I recommend 1 star for that hotel or below it

My Stay Was Nice and Comfortable.. near by market .. Manager was too good he change our room in one request only .. very supportive staff and good manager .. property is nice and have good lawn also .. Hot water timing is 6am to 10am.

We had booked a breakfast+lunch /dinner package but the impression we got was that employees of hotel Satkar were not happy by providing us this package but they wanted a la carte instead. I need to rate and I can't go below one thus have ranked one ⭐Service is Seriously an iSSue at hotel Satkar. There was no phone connection in the room to connect with the help desk / hotel staff which was surprising and the first time we encountered this experience in many hotels and resorts we stayed
