Shama Grand is an excellent and new hotel in the main city area, around 1.5 kms from Mangalore Central railway station. It is very reasonably priced and the rooms are nicely designed, spacious with all required amenities. The hotel is also spotlessly clean and the staff are polite and friendly. The complimentary breakfast is provided as room service after ordering as there is no separate dining area.
