location of hotel is ok ...but management & hotel staff...is so bad . no any services ...no cleaning ...old bed sheets..& blanket. demanding money at every service...waste of money..& time ..plz don't go ...such a horrible management ..& staff...

this was the most pathetic hotel i hv seen in mcleodganj.the worst service and the rooms are so smelly n untidy.i would suggest ppl to not to book this hotel .At last there is nothing good about this hotel .no rooms ,no room service,u just feel like u wre staying at some 0 grade hotel.

Bad experience !! I will not recommend this hotel to any one. Location of the hotel is very nice. But the staff is totally unprofessional. There was no running water. When i went to reception to enquire the manager and another staff were still sleeping there. The only explanation was that there was no water supply today from corporation. I have attached the photo of tea tray. This shall give you an idea about how much they care about clients and general hygiene. Not recommended at all !!

The stay @ the hotel was cool,The location of the hotel is in the heart of the market,You can have Paratha at the hotel which is next to This Hotel, you can rent a bike/scooty at a very reasonable rate from Shop which is on back side, You can have have dinner At Bhimsen Dhaba for Punjabi food,**** shop is on the back side of the hote
All sightseeing destinations are managable by Bike/ Scooty
On the first Day visit Water Fall/ Dal Lake/ Sunset point/Move around in the market
On the second day Dal ...more

We a group of 12 people stayed in hotel Shivalik for four days .It was wonderful stay .the rooms were clean. People were courtious and helping.Suggestion is the water dispenser should be available at reception on 1 st floor.That will reduce the efforts of the staff.
Dont go on the adverese reviews.the hotel is at very strategic location and good two star hotel.
