Shivalik hotel is a well located hotel in between kasol valley and Khirganga valley that's the only plus point of this hotel. Rooms are good and well maintained. Staff is good

we booked for 2 nights, on day 1 it was horrible experience , since our stay was in dec..it was freaking cold weather.. i asked the staff to sent hot water thrice to three different staff members but i didnt get it.. entire day was without water as i had a sore throat i could not consume cold water.. on day 2 after complaining it to goibibo one of the senior staff members provided me hot water and water heater kettle.. also room heater was part on inclusion but we had to pay extra for it.. pillo ...more

When i checked in i went to room What i found a dirty bed sheet and dirty pillow cover which they didn't change after last someone's checked in. Then there were no water geyser. After paying i took cold shower. I ignored all but when the food came it was very shocking i found cockroach in food. It was disgusting. I literally had vomit. After complaining about food even manager was fighting with me. I never stayed in hotel like. The experience was totally horrible.

hotel was situated very close to Parvati river and walking distance from manikaran Sahib and shiv temple.interior ,beds , cleaning ,staff everything was perfect ,we stayed for 2 days and i believe its perfect place to stay and there food was excellent 👌 view from the balcony and on terrace also you can sit and feel the vibes of the nature with s awesome view. must recommend.

overall it was good experience. the rooms were descent. hot water available during the specified timings at the hotel. there are mini balconies as well which overlooks the river flowing by. the hotel is not very far from the market so you can go walking.
