    Overall experience was Good.. But got disappointed as the jacuzzi was not working. I had complained to resort authorities but they told the pump was not working due to heavy rainfall.

    The experience was surreal. One of the best properties in Kerala. The staff was very sweet and helpful. The food was delicious. If you looking for a peaceful and scenic property will highly recommend this place for a leisure trip.

    We had a wonderful time at The LaLiT Bekal. Celebrated my wife’s birthday there. They also arranged a special complimentary cake for us at 12:00 AM. The rooms are massive, great amenities, the restaurant serves some really good food. We will definitely come back to this place once again :)

    The stay was good except for the power cut 3-4 times during the stay. The inroom dining was not upto the mark as we have ordered the food for inroom dining and had to call the restaurant and remind them order after 50 min of patient wait.Moreover after the dinner the leftovers and plates were not collected /cleaned until9 am the next day and we woke up to see the litters of foodwaste outside the room as though eaten by some animal.     In a resort, people enjoy 2 things the most. 1. The property itself... Location, landscape, activites and the room... all were good. ( except Jacuzzi in the room was 50% functional) 2. FOOD... had heard about the SUBSTANDARD food, after staying got to experience the same. After staying in Taj Vivanta Bekal couple of months back, we felt the food at Lalit (dinner and breakfast) was not even half as good as food of (spread and quality) Taj Vivanta. The Lalit serves 3 star range of food and charges at 5 star rate. The staff were very helpful... Not very good due to low quality food.
