i had an amazing stay at unmad. the place was situated at upper dharamkot, away from dharamshala by 45 mins. the rooms nd unmad cafe was a bliss. just be ready to climb some stairs nd test your stamina once you reach there... 😅. the views are exquisite & place was very calm & positive. loved staying there..!!

Aparna was very helpful. Very happy with the service provided. However, the rooms were ok ok. Rooms need heating system or an ac. Portable heater provided was not very effective in heating the room. Great view from the rooms. But Again, Location is not very friendly for elder people. You can walk down to mcleodganj market but while coming back you need to take a cab as it is uphill. One thing that upset us was the strong smell of cigarette in the room. They provided a room freshener but that didn't help.

We asked the hotel before making any booking to confirm if we will have a safe space to park our car and they said yes it is right in front of the hotel, when we went there, the route is not made for SUV car, car had to be parked away from the hotel in a paid parking spot, the hotel is on a height, you will have to climb stairs for that, view from the hotel is amazing, the hosts are very sweet and welcoming, hospitality is great, due to heavy rains we had to leave all our bags in car for a day and the hosts provided everything we needed.
